Summer has officially arrived in Alaska. It has been mid 60's to low 70's all week. The days are sunny and the sun here in the land of the midnight sun is an amazing thing. Only a few more weeks until the solstice when it will never truly get dark. Me and Ocoee have been enjoying this weather with trips to the beach, easy going hikes and getting ready to camp this weekend up north at Byers Lake near Denali.
With school being out we have also been busy. My to do list is almost all accomplished. I have cleaned the house from top to bottom, planted my garden, shopped a little and booked my maternity photo session. Check out my photographer at: http://www.sugarsixphotography.com/. She will also do Ocoee's newborn photos.
Had another doctor visit on Wednesday, though I did show up on Monday to be reminded it was actually Wed....oh baby brain. All is well. Ocoee is kicking a up a storm and her heartbeat is strong. We have made nursery progress as well. We picked out the wall color, a soft yellow called Blonde Beauty, have the overstuffed glider in place, and ordered the crib. I also found some cool prints on Etsy...http://www.etsy.com/shop/iotaillustration?ref=seller_info. Now just have to get hubby inspired to put brush to paint.
